My name is Amanda Downie, and I am a Graphic Designer.
At the moment, I am currently striving to learn as much as I can, especially involving Web Design.
My main focuses at this time include becoming more fluent with Javascript and JQuery, as well as becoming more familiar with various Database protocols and languages as they become relevant to each problem I come across.
As you can see with this lovely website, I love Web Design. I strive to create a unique experience, breaking away from what everyone else seems to be doing, and create a whole new identity that stands out.
I am addicted to puzzles, whether it be logic, legos, riddles, and flat out coding something just to make it work, I can't help it.
I also can't help but be a fast learner. I don't know what it is, but once something "clicks" I'm set, and usually that'll just take a few minutes of playing around. This goes from everything to new programs, video games, languages, you name it. I do love a challenge.
I also do a lot of photography, specializing in sports (ice hockey and lacrosse) as well as landscape when I get the chance to go wander about. I guess that's what happens when you grow up in hockey rinks all your life!
